How to Contribute

The Dunvegan Foundation supports many organizations on a recurring basis.  Many of these projects are the result of specific bequests for an endowed effort.  These projects include:

    Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library

Scholarly Efforts
 

    Clan MacLeod Society – Migration Project

An ongoing effort of Clan MacLeod Societies throughout the world is to tell the story of the migration of the clan from northwestern Scotland to the far corners of the world.  Additional information is available on the "Genealogy" section of this web site.

    Clan MacLeod Society – Migration Project Book Collection

The Foundation supports an extensive collection of books of the Clan MacLeod, Scottish History and related subjects housed at the Taos Public Library in Taos, NM. Many of the books in this library are difficult to find and are available through inter-library loan.  Additional information is available at www.clanmacleod.org/TaosRareBookInventory.htm  or  www.taoslibrary.org

    Clan MacLeod Society – Annual General Meeting Lecturer

Given in memory of Stanley MacLeod, this project supports a scholarly presentation on topics relating to the Clan MacLeod.  It is presented annually at the Annual General Meeting of the Clan MacLeod Society, USA and is open to the public. The schedule of the Annual General Meetings can be found on the "Upcoming Events" page on this web site. 
 

Scholarships

    All scholarships funded by the Dunvegan Foundation are administered by the institutions for which they were established. 

    The Dunvegan Foundation does not grant scholarships directly to individuals.

 

St. Thomas School - Piping Scholarship and  Scottish Dance Scholarship

Given in memory of Harry Myles McLeod.  St. Thomas Episcopal High School is located in Houston, Texas.  Additional information is available at www.stes.org.
